no pie dish? no graham crumb base? no actual baking skills? no problem! just google “apple pie” and the internet will present to you all the knowledge you need to fake it. (note: the googling is the only part that is easy as pie. the actual process of baking can be more realistically phrased, moderately complicated as pie.)

using a 9-in cake pan and double crusting that sucker, we have made passing-for-perfect dessert of nomness. 

for the internet challenged, i present to you the three-step (rather self hyping) linkage we followed:

1. never never fail pie pastry (refrigerate the dough for like 15-30 mins.)
2. perfect apple pie (ignore the pastry part, plus the baking in our beast of an over only took like 30 mins.)
3. instructions for lattice top (if you think you can wing it, think again genius)
