nope! haven’t done that one, and not planning to really.
and since I’m getting asked this a lot, I’ll try and explain fully here. the HP animations I make are usually:
1) scenes from the books that are NOT at all in the movies. for example: a whole bunch of stuff from Order of the Phoenix, Peeves, etc.
2) scenes that were drastically changed in the films,
because I feel like they haven’t been done justice or because RON WEASLEY, etc.
As for “importance” of the scenes, that’s all personal opinion. I tend to go for scenes with Ron the most because he’s my favourite character and, in my opinion, suffered the most in the films. But I’m trying to animate as many scenes/cover as many characters as I can, but I’ve done completely pointless snippets too. I just do whatever inspires me, and hope they all turn out good looking.
I don’t plan on ever doing non-canon animations though. because…that’s not the point? o_O so sorry to all you draco/ginny, voldemort/hermione, aberforth/rosmerta, bertie bott/lunch trolley lady, nargle/bowtruckle shippers. If it ain’t in the book, I probably won’t be animating it.
and finally, animating does takes me a long effing time, so for that reason they’ll be short scenes, rather than entire chapters. It’s also why I can’t crank one out everyday.
sooo that’s what you can expect from me (by the way, I thought the splinching looked great in DH!). :D
